On Friday, 17 May 2024, a memorial event for Jewish Munich residents who were victims of National Socialism took place at Käthe-Kollwitz-Gymnasium.

Students from the Käthe Kollwitz School researched the life stories of Nazi victims from Neuhausen in a W-seminar on "Jewish life in the Neuhausen-Nymphenburg district". Their starting point was often nothing more than their name, date of birth and date of death. Under the guidance of Public History Munich, they were able to go into the archives and do their own research. In addition to official documents, they also found personal accounts of those affected, which made it possible to retell their life stories from the victims' perspective.

At the commemorative event, Lord Mayor Dieter Reiter and Dr. h.c.mult. Charlotte Knobloch, President of the Jewish Community of Munich and Upper Bavaria, Headmaster Gerhard Tietz and students from the W-Seminar.

Afterwards, the memorial signs for Ilse and Otto Gugenheim, Frida and Benedikt Frank, Oskar and Meta Fleischhacker as well as Adolf Abrahm and Berta Lea Richard were placed at their former places of residence.
