Lotte Schwarzschild was a student at the Lyceum on St. Anna Square until, at the age of 16, she was forced to leave school and perform forced labour at the Lohhof flax factory. In 1942, the Gestapo deported Lotte Schwarzschild to Piaski. Neither the circumstances nor the exact date of her death are known. Her parents, Mina and Moritz Schwarzschild, were deported to Theresienstadt and from there to Auschwitz, where they were murdered.
Rita Stark was also a student at St. Anna Square. After her mother Lina Stark died in Munich in June 1941, Rita Stark was deported with her brother Michael Günther and her father Josef Stark by the Gestapo to Kaunas in November 1941, where they were murdered by the SS.
Ruth Wilmersdörfer attended the Lyceum at St. Anna Square for three years. Her parents tried in vain to emigrate to the USA, and an attempt to save Ruth with a Kindertransport was also unsuccessful. In November 1941, the Gestapo deported Ruth Wilmersdörfer together with her parents Siegbert and Frieda Luzie Wilmersdörfer to Kaunas, where they were shot by the SS.
