Curt Moskovitz lived with his parents at Westendstraße 141, where his parents ran a white goods and haberdashery business. In 1934, Curt Moskovitz was diagnosed with incurable muscular atrophy. After the horrors of the November pogroms and probably worried that his Jewish family would not be able to emigrate because of him, he attempted suicide at the age of 18 in December 1938. He was then committed to the ‘Haar Sanatorium and Nursing Home’, where Curt Moskovitz died a few weeks later.
